At Fountain Head House School, we recently celebrated World Book Day with enthusiasm and creativity.
All pupils and staff members were invited to come dressed up as their favourite character or book to celebrate the day. Staff were encouraged to bring in their favourite childhood book and share this book with a learner or group of learners. Reading books is a great way to discover what interests our pupils have; it expands their vocabulary, improves critical thinking skills and increases their knowledge across a wide range of topics. Reading also helps pupils develop their creativity, empathy, and openness to new ideas.
We are so proud to see how excited the pupils are about reading. We look forward to seeing their love for books continue to grow within our school environment.
