QUALIFICATIONS AND RESULTS
Many of our pupils have had previous difficult experiences in school and a number of them have been out of school for extended periods of time. Our initial focus is to support pupils to feel safe and build their confidence within our school environment to get them ready for learning. As their skills and interests emerge, we start to look at a personalised programme that will pave the way for a smooth progression into adulthood; assisted or independent living, further education and/or training and the exciting world of work.
Working closely with each pupil and the class teacher, a detailed plan for upper Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is developed that identifies the most appropriate qualifications for them to work towards. This is an organic plan that is reviewed termly to ensure progress is taken into account as well as any changes to career interest is identified.

The qualifications below allow us to formalise the great work that each pupil completes, based on nationally recognised standards, and use these to gain entry in the next stage of their education, training or employment.
